4 Post Carport 2.4x4m to 4.5x4.5m

Generally speaking, a timber carport will be to house a fairly costly item such as a car or motorbike. For that reason, we have gone above what is really necessary will construction. We chose 140mm x 140mm (5.5” x 5.5”) support posts underneath a roof support system with 20mm tongue and groove boards. These posts are really chunky and noticeably give the structure a very substantial feel. 4, 6 and 8 post support systems are all available depending on what size of the structure you need. Carports are ideal for giving cars (obviously), boats and motorhomes protection. They even crossover as quality hot tub shelters.

Like all Logspan products, the timber used in manufacture is sustainably grown Northern spruce. As wood is a natural material; it expands, moves and contracts all the time so it is important that the timber is treated properly and as soon as possible.
