Nida Panorama Modern (45mm)

0 1 100 0

Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

The Nida Panorama Modern is exactly as it suggests; a modern summerhouse, with panoramic views to the front of the cabin. The light that floods into cabin through the full glass frontage is ideal for lounging in the summer or using a garden office. Standard 45mm walls, sloped roof and floor to ceiling glass windows, all make up the package for one of our favourite cabins at Logspan.

As the original Nida Panorama has been such a hit over the years with our customers, we thought a modern version might just do the trick for the ever changing world of design we live in. The plan with this cabin was to maximise natural sunlight into the cabin and with that the full glass frontage was maintained from the original Nida Panorama only this time, the facings and design are much more modern. Not only that this cabin features a pent roof as opposed to a standard apex style. We also wanted to keep the strong and sturdy feel from the original and for that reason the walls are manufactured to 45mm thick from sustainably grown Russian spruce and all the glass and doors are fully double glazed. Like all our cabins, although there is a range of standard sizes, the Nida Modern is fully customizable in terms of size and styling. We feel these cabins would be perfect as a home office or a little (or not so little) garden studio; the possibilities with these buildings are endless. All cabins come with a treated base frame so this protects the bottom of the cabin but the rest of the timber MUST be treated as soon as possible. As wood is natural material; it expands, moves and contracts all the time so it is important that the timber is treated properly as soon as possible. It is worth treating inside cabins as well before you fit it out.

What's included in the package is everything you need to get going:

- A treated base frame on which the whole cabin is built
- All wall logs, each cut to size, length and with the interlocking notches already cut out
- Floor & roof boards cut to length
- Skirting board
- Internal and External Trim
- Wind Boards for the gable ends
- Detailed instructions
- Screws of all lengths and sizes for each section of the job (this is a generic screw pack/you are likely to have some left over)
- Nails for putting down floor - (some like to use a brad gun instead of our nails to make 'secret nailing' in the tongue & groove boards easier)
- Roof covering - you can opt to order with or without the roof covering - This is selected at time of order
- If you have any trouble, we are available on the end of the phone to help out with build or with any queries.
- There is also most likely to be an extra wall board with notches cut out. This is there if there are any damages or missing parts. This extra log can be used to replace the broke or missing part in the unlikely circumstance. If you don't use it, it's a free piece of wood which could be used to make a shelf or a little step for the cabin.

The only thing you will need is your own tools and a flat, stable, level base. Information and advice on base work can be found here. It is also advisable to have at least 2 able bodies to build the cabin.

What our customers say

“It has been a great buy and I have put a bar in it so it’s more a social room. The construction team were great, built it fast and very professional. Absolutely delighted.” Paul Andrew (Glasgow) – Nida Panorama 4 x 4
