Nida Panorama Modern Log Cabin

0 2 100 0

Availability: In stock

Quick Overview

The Nida Panorama Modern is exactly as it suggests; a modern summerhouse, with panoramic views to the front of the cabin. The light that floods into cabin through the full glass frontage is ideal for lounging in the summer or using a garden office. Standard 45mm walls, sloped roof and floor to ceiling glass windows, all make up the package for one of our favourite cabins at Logspan.

As the original Nida Panorama Log Cabin has been such a hit over the years with our customers, we thought a modern version might just do the trick for the ever-changing world of design we live in. The plan with this garden cabin was to maximise natural sunlight into the building and with that the full glass frontage was maintained from the original Nida Panorama only this time, the facings and design are much more modern.

Not only that, but this log cabin features a pent roof as opposed to a standard apex style. We also wanted to keep the strong and sturdy feel from the original and for that reason, the walls are manufactured 45mm or 60mm thick timber from sustainably grown Russian spruce and all the glass and doors are fully double glazed. Like all our log cabins, although there is a range of standard sizes, the Nida Modern is fully customizable in terms of size and styling. We feel these garden rooms would be perfect for a home office or a little (or not so little) garden studio; the possibilities with these buildings are endless.

All Logspan cabins come with a treated base frame so this protects the bottom of the log cabin but the rest of the wood MUST be treated as soon as possible. As wood is natural material; it expands, moves and contracts all the time so it is important that the timber is treated properly as soon as possible. It is worth treating inside cabins as well before you fit it out.

  1. Excellent quality of cabin. review by Steve A on 08/09/2017

We bought this cabin from Logspan and we are delighted with the whole process from start to finish.
Now it is installed, the cabin is a high quality product and looks fantastic. Logspan were excellent, always on the end of the phone with accurate information once the order had been placed, right through to delivery of the cabin and arranging the labour for the installation.

  2. Best Log Cabins made locally. review by Jono Rezzillo on 24/07/2017

What's included in the package is everything you need to get going:

- A treated base frame on which the whole cabin is built
- All wall logs, each cut to size, length and with the interlocking notches already cut out
- Floor & roof boards cut to length
- Skirting board
- Internal and External Trim
- Wind Boards for the gable ends
- Detailed instructions
- Screws of all lengths and sizes for each section of the job (this is a generic screw pack/you are likely to have some left over)
- Nails for putting down floor - (some like to use a brad gun instead of our nails to make 'secret nailing' in the tongue & groove boards easier)
- Roof covering - you can opt to order with or without the roof covering - This is selected at time of order
- If you have any trouble, we are available on the end of the phone to help out with build or with any queries.
- There is also most likely to be an extra wall board with notches cut out. This is there if there are any damages or missing parts. This extra log can be used to replace the broke or missing part in the unlikely circumstance. If you don't use it, it's a free piece of wood which could be used to make a shelf or a little step for the cabin.

The only thing you will need is your own tools and a flat, stable, level base. Information and advice on base work can be found here. It is also advisable to have at least 2 able bodies to build the cabin.

What our customers say

“Logspan provides a great, hassle-free service at a very reasonable cost. We have been absolutely delighted with our cabin. Everyone who visits us admires it.” John Wilson (Skye) – Ascot T24 Log Cabin
"We absolutely love our Bbq cabin. Logspan service was brilliant. Now had it just over a year and use it regularly throughout the year. Actually love it best in winter. Have even now slept out in it. Was cozy with the fire going. Would love the bench seating pads but will have to save up lol." Leslie Maria (Troon) - Finman BBQ Hut 11m2
