Keep within 6.8 metres wide by 20m long (but no less than 7m) by 3.05m internal height and the structure is classed as a mobile home and so exempt from building regulations. The building is only changed at 5% VAT, so saving 15% straight away. The concrete base for a mobile home is also exempt from building regulations, making the whole construction project easier and cheaper from start to finish.
Our caravan and mobile home range are constructed in 45mm thick double tongue and groove logs and includes 50mm Kingspan-type insulated roof and floor and our premium double glazed doors and windows. All partition walls, interior doors, exterior doors and windows and canopies as shown are included in the price. The roof covering is bitumen roof shingles (which are guaranteed 15 years) but other options are available. Our highly skilled fitters will construct the log cabin on your prepared site. Internal fittings and fixtures, kitchen, bathroom etc. are not included.
