MOBILE FIELD SHELTER UNITS

Field Shelters for horses, donkeys, pigs or goats are in great demand. Our Mobile Field Shelters are constructed from wooden 3ft x 2ft wall framing and 16mm shiplap timber.

They are made to the same specifications as our static timber horse stable and shelter buildings but with the addition of strong metal skids, that include anchor points for towing around facilitate easy moving from one area to another. Metal skids are much more durable than the wooden equivalents, so your equestrian purchase will last longer and keep you and your horse happier for longer!

Most sizes can be undertaken but you should be aware of the need to pass through gateways. Gates, extra wide bottom stable doors, and internal partitions can be added or purchase our Stable Conversion Kit to convert your shelter to stabling.

All exterior and interior wood used int he construction of our Field Shelters are pressure sprayed, there is a choice of 2 colours, either Golden brown or Woodland brown. The mobile field shelters have 12mm prepared OSD kickboards to aheight of 4ft.

The roofing consists of sheets of black corrugated Onduline, other onduline colours and roofing materials are available on request.

Both top and bottom stable doors consist of 19mm thick TGV, ledged and braced, the bottom door is then lined with moisture resistant OSB boarding. Extra deep chew strips and all door furniture are supplied as standard.
